Who We Are


To improve the wellbeing of all people in Minnesota through the support and promotion of physical activity


To promote awareness of the existence and consequences of the physical inactivity epidemic in Minnesota while also serving as a catalyst for change through information sharing, public advocacy and the provision of individual, organizational and community supports.  A significant result of our efforts will be to create healthy physical and social environments supportive of physical activity and related behaviors that ultimately improve the health and wellbeing of all people in Minnesota.


Physical Activity is a part of the daily lives of all people in Minnesota.

Impact Statement

By the year 2010, increase the proportion of Minnesota adults and adolescents who engage regularly, preferably daily, in moderate physical activity for at least 30 minutes per day.
