Following is a list of some of ski destinations you may want to explore as 2011 brings the season to an official open.Afton Alps (Hastings) has a top elevation of 1530 feet, a vertical drop of 350 feet, a skiable terrain of 250 acres and 21 total lifts. The longest run is 0.2 miles.Andes Tower Hills has a top elevation of 1620 feet, a vertical drop of 290 feet, a skiable terrain of 35 acres and 4 total lifts. The longest run is 0.2 miles.Buck Hill (Burnsville) has a top elevation of 1225 feet, a vertical drop of 309 feet, a skiable terrain of 45 acres and 9 total lifts. The longest run is 0.2 miles.Hyland Ski has a top elevation of 1075 feet, a vertical drop of 175 feet, a skiable terrain of 35 acres and 8 total lifts.Lutsen Mountains (Lutsen) has a top elevation of 1488 feet, a vertical drop of 825 feet, a skiable terrain of 1000 acres and 10 total lifts.
